Hey all - here's a WWYD? My weigh-in day is today, Tuesday (only doing online bc of time constraints). Today I was really happy because I've been doing this about 4 weeks & have lost 5 lbs! Yay - I have about 15-20 to lose (lost 60 some years ago regained 20 over the past 2 years. ) Anyhoo today there was a going away work luncheon. at an Italian restaurant - I'm on purple and loving it. I had a cup of minestrone. ate around the pasta. Then ordered the 6" sub with grilled chicken, roasted pepper & spinach (sauteed). I ate half the roll. So far so good, right? Well there were 3 desserts on the table and about 6 of us each had a bite of each dessert. I also had about 5 little tubs of half & half. Obviously I didn't count the points. and I still feel full from 2:00 p. m. So my question is WWYD? Trash all my weeklies til next Tuesday? Start fresh tomorrow as if nothing happened :P ? Split the difference? I really hadn't used many weeklies this past month. just a few times/few points. Never all of them.
Hey all - here's a WWYD?

Track it. not tracking it doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. so be honest with yourself (you aren’t accountable to anyone BUT yourself) and move on to the next day with a fresh start.

What I didn't realize was my weekly points reset the day AFTER you weigh in (at least mine did). I went back and approximated yesterday's points - I hadn't used any of my weeklies. Everything reset today with all my weeklies.

@heptahedron273 Every week you lose your accrued weeklies and start all over with the minimum # of weeklies you were assigned when you were assigned your daily points. I ended Monday with 57 weeklies; weighed in Tuesday (my weigh-in day) and started over with my normal 35 weeklies.

This is similar to how my day went. I ate my normal light breakfast, but had sushi for an early dinner, along with dessert. I came home and prepped and pre tracked my food for tomorrow to get back on track! An occasional splurge isn’t bad! Just get back to it tomorrow! Remember we are in it for the long run!

You need days here and there to enjoy, just get back on track the next day.

Track it. Part of tracking your points is for you to learn where you go wrong. If you end up with a negative number the end of your week so be it. You may may find that it won’t effect your weight loss as much as you think it will.

Track it. Tomorrows a new day. One blimp in the lifestyle plan will not effect you. I just try not to let that be a habit.

Track and move on. An occasional splurge won't hurt you.

When I do this. I figure how many points I think I used, then I use Quick Add name it splurge and record the points. I then move on. The next day I move more and stay within my points. Works for me.
