Weigh and measure all serving sizes. 0 + 0 + 0 does not add up to zero. Portion sizes are everything. I don’t eat a lot of starchy foods or pasta, rice etc normally so green is oerfect for me. I add those sparingly and track all. Down 22 pounds. Also. drink water like it’s a full time job!

The points you get is determined by the amount of weight you need to lose. (Your height/weight all factor in).

You might be better if you turned that statement around - try to base more meals on zero point foods and then add other foods to complement. It is like I read about an overweight fellow who went to the doc for help and got a diet plan. In a month he had gained weight and doc couldn't figure it out. Said the fellow, yes, and sometimes when I am finished my meals I don't even feel like eating the stuff on the diet plan as well.

No matter what weight I out in I got 30. then I tried another color and it gave me between 23-26. I just cannot imagine eating MORE and losing when I gained at 24 points.

@fibrosis9 It's all about *what* you're eating. Green has fewer 0 pt foods - more accountability for me. Be careful because even 0 point foods have suggested serving sizes. Are you weighing/measuring all your food? Training myself in proper serving sizes has been eye opening for me

Green you get 30, but there are few 0sp foods. fruits and veggies are it.

You don't eat more. You have 7 more points but a hundred less zero points foods, eggs, tuna, legumes, corn, chicken for example. You might be overeating zero point foods on blue. Take chili as an example. You will have to count the beans now. You might eat a smaller portion.

I do NOT use zero points foods. I count EVERYTHING. I weigh and measure and track. That way I can indulge on grapes etc but the calories still count!

How long have you been on the plan? How often do you eat in a day? I’ve lost 100lbs on the plan eating all my points. That was when it was Points Plus but it’s still working.

Keep your calories to 1200 a day

Eat zero point foods just to satisfaction - not all you can eat. A low carb vegetavble is always going to be a better choice than cookies, cake, chips, crackers.

Portion control/serving size is important on everything, including zero point foods, regardless of color chosen and Zero point foods are not calories free. WW does not count calories, but point amounts are calibrated for calories based on your info.

@arvillaarvin922 so true! When I first started in Jan, I wasn’t watching this, I’m better now. down 19 on WW, total 27 since 1/5

If your that short on hitting you points that could be hurting your weight loss as well. If I stay too far under my points I gain

Just follow the plan instead of making up your own rules to the plan.

For starters, bodies are complex machines and can be fickle with the scale for many normal reasons But if you are on Green with no zero proteins and you are undercutting points by 7 — you are likely not eating enough. The points we are assigned (daily and weekly) are meant to provide sufficient fuel and support weight loss. When your body doesn’t get sufficient fuel, it goes into starvation mode Trust the plan
