What's up with the prizes? What's the point in points if prizes suck? Edit: read the second sentence again!

And it's technically a bonus, not sure why you'd complain about it

@bottomless last I knew it's a free country

@bottomless “It’s a free country comment”  Oh Lord, some people. I agree - it’s a bonus!

@abbottson this is true. Enjoy

I suppose it’s all a matter of opinion. not everyone thinks the prizes “suck”. If you don’t want the current items, they do add new ones periodically - you can donate them if you prefer not to get something for yourself - or just save them if you wish. It’s a fun “bonus” for healthy living.

I got a $5 coupon for my birthday, and I was going to order a box of some sort of snack, but the shipping was more than $8! Thanks, but NO THANKS. I thought this was sort of tacky.

I used mine for weight watchers snacks. Had them shipped to my door. I added to my order enough to get free shipping. I feel they were “worth it” as I can have a treat and still stay within my points allowance.

I got the earrings. They are horrible. Don’t waste wellness wins on these. They were tiny and don’t even go through my ears. I wasted 3000 wins on these. I complained to WW and I was told they couldn’t refund my points but would pass along my complaint to the higher ups. I did end up getting 1500 wins back. Not worth it.
by (2.8k points)
@beffrey thanks for the feedback. I was thinking of getting the earrings. I’m glad for the heads up. I’ll choose something else.
by (420 points)
@beffrey I love my earrings. I got them last week.

by (450 points)
@irmgard Isn't that the point of WW? Work your A** off? JEEZZZZZZZZ !
by (4.2k points)
I agree, the swag could use an overhaul. That said, are you really working your ass off for the wellness wins and not your health? All you do to get wins is track the meals that you would’ve tracked any way.
by (760 points)
@abbottson Bless your heart. I'm glad I don't know you in person . you dont have to do the program and they don't have to give you anything. .

I think the Wellness wins suck to, but that’s not the reason for me to lose weight. I missed out on the last cookbook they had too
by (1k points)
@bambara no. It's not the reason to lose weight. And shouldnt be for anyone, but as an incentive to gets those points.
by (740 points)
@abbottson it would be more of an incentive if they had better items. I’ll just keep saving mine and hopefully one day they will have something I like. Not really a big deal to me.

I’ll probably have my comment removed but this seems to like WW just can’t please everyone me included at times. To me, it is like some are acting like spoiled brats and oh yes I can and do at times act like one.
by (1k points)
@kurtiskurtosis yes. I am a spoiled brat. It's taken me forever to do this. Breast cancer was the reason I joined to change my lifestyle. Excuse me for wanting better or at least more variety in the 'prize' area
by (16.2k points)
@abbottson - they had more variety at the beginning of of the wins program. I am glad that you chose to change your lifestyle. I will tell you this you’ll need to contact WW about what you feel as complaining on this site won’t get it done.
by (820 points)
@abbottson I would think a second chance at life would take priority over some material things. but what do I know?
by (16.2k points)
@duvalier well said
by (29.5k points)
@abbottson What prize?
by (29.5k points)
Sometimes we need help & that can be material incentive for some. Play nice, folks.

by (29.5k points)
@duvalier We don't need to be judgemental . Who knows what she is going through.
by (820 points)
@judaica9474 She’s not going through anything but a temper tantrum. And if you keep reading, she literally says she’s a spoiled brat.  You play stupid games, you win stupid prizes. that’s what she’s playing.

Yes right now they seem to be lacking in prizes. I have gotten several nice things in the past year. The best being a wireless speaker. I wanted more socks but there are gone. Maybe they'll add more choices soon!

@lordly82 Eckard Ritch Yes! I like mine too! They were small but since I’m not really going anywhere well. HaHa! I call them my quarantine earrings!
by (5.6k points)
I have 3 holes in each ear and put them in the middle. Small diamonds in the upper and hoops on the bottom. Looks very elegant like that. I would order them again.

Hi @abbottson You’re not obligated to accept that free gift being offered if you have no use for it. You can donate your points, give them to a friend, or simply not participate in that part of the program. I love this positive reinforcement approach to changing behaviour WW is using. That is the beauty of the program. You can use as much of the program as you’d like that works for your journey. Good luck on your journey!

IMHO the donation on Tier 1 of fresh fruits and vegetables to a family in need is the best option, especially when so many are struggling to get the basics that they really need right now.
by (2.4k points)
@beery415 completely agree i dont think i would be able to pick any other option knowing someone in need to get help
by (11.5k points)
I haven't looked but can I donate food to myself as a person in need?
by (10k points)
@compassion958 I think it goes to a food bank, but you could contact Customer Service and ask. Best of luck!

With all of these points, they are never anything you really want. I think it just a extra bonus and incentive. Better than when they offered nothing.
