Does anyone know who I can cancel my WW membership?

I called today and cancelled. They said I had to pay a $39 early cancellation fee! That was a surprise to me. They said I had a "commitment contract". I did NOT sign up for any commitment. BUT I paid it to end the contract. Definitely something fishy there, but nothing I could do about it.
