I would stay away from the basket style. If painted they tend to peel. Bigger is better. Look at the air fryer toaster oven combo ones. Love my cuisinart even though it’s more than two years old.

I have a power xl 7 qt that I would recommend. I have a family of 5 as well. I still sometimes have to make 2 batches of whatever I’m making, depending on what I’m making, but it’s a staple in my cooking!

Ninja or Emeril. you need a larger one where the entire unit can be used for multiple functions.
