Sticking to a schedule . I am currently working from home. I have my two snacks just like a normal work from the office day and no more. One fruit at 10:30am and one low pt snack like crackers and laughing cow at 3. I work out on my lunch break. I try new recipes as I have more time to make dinner now.

When I move and do something I feel better and less food thoughts. It is when I am sitting and watching a show that makes me want to eat. Trying to fight the boring time with food . does not work.

Break bad habits with new good ones. Example: Netflix for hours on end? Instead I get up and go on a walk and then watch my show. Celebrate scale and non scale victories. Remember your why. What is the reason for starting on this path? What is your ultimate goal? Find joy that doesn’t come for the temporary sensation of a meal or snack. Plan your meals ahead of time and have WW friendly snack options and frozen meals ready when stress kicks in or you don’t want to cook.

Focusing on drinking water. YouTube yoga work outs. Dance or run with kids a little bit. Tracking even if it goes over. Better than eating way too many points and then more.
by (1.9k points)
I lost 20lbs in 2019. And am up 4 of those since this stay at home order started. I’m trying to track and drink water. But comfort food and not walking all the places was the culprit. So also know that if you can find a way to maintain, once things open you can continue losing.

Tracking every day now - I gained 6 lbs in the first 6 weeks but happily 5. 5 of those are gone now - on to the next 5! I’m staying within my dailies and will use the extras for weekend wine. I’m walking 5 km a day - not as rigorous as my usual kettlebells but good for my soul

I gained 10 lbs in the last month. I snacked. Drank a few sodas. Had treats every day. Got it out of my system. I picked a day to reel it all in. Day 1 was yesterday. I tracked everything. Drank water. Save points for a dessert and I’m down 3 lbs. U have to push restart when you’re ready to 100% commit.

I am doing my best. Tracking 95 percent of the time. (Better in the morning and lunch. Dinner usually, but it usually includes wine —- often more than one glass. ) Should be exercising more, but the last time I tripped on raised sidewalk and landed on my hands and face. Scraped my palms and knees and fell on sunglasses, got a cut near my eyebrow. Nothing broken, but no one out to ask for help. (Need to carry my phone with me, which I did not do that day. Came home, washed my wounds and had wine. ) I miss my meetings and have not been to any virtual ones. I weigh every week, and have gained about 3-5 pounds. Feel okay about that because it is close to what I usually do on vacation —- except this is not a vacation.

Tired of feeling trapped and unable to do almost anything. I have a lot to lose. I’m diabetic so it’s down to a crawl now. First three months it just literally fell off. I’ve started the intermittent fasting and I may be shaving some points off of my daily diet to get things moving. I never use weeklies

A walking and fitness schedule have saved me. I started with 4000 steps and added 1000 each week. I’m now 10000 everyday. I only walk ten minutes at a time, but while walking I think about my health journey in positive ways. Plus I track and workout but I really think it’s the walking time that got my head straight about it.

I am having trouble with portion control and late night hunger! I am staying up much to late. Just can't fall asleep when I go to bed early and if I do I'm awake in just and hour or so and cant get back to sleep. I've been up and down for the past 2 to 3 weeks by 2 to 3 lbs. That sucks! I was thinking about switching plans to green but I dont eat that many free points.

Look for svelte media here on Facebook. I walk 3-4 miles every day and we are fortunate that the pool at our rv park is open so I try to swim and do water aerobics 4 or 5 days a week. Svelte media gives you little 10 minute workouts that you can do in your home. I like those for the times I just want to snack. I'm hypothyroidism so it comes off slow and I'm 64 so muscle takes forever, but I feel better and my clothes fit better. Stick to it!

I honestly don't know where I have gotten the willpower from this time except seeing the results. I have been morbidly obese most of my adult life. I have done WW many times. I have been fortunate enough to continue working outside my home during this time. which I understand has been an issue for so many. I think just seeing the results of sticking to plan have helped me continue on this journey. Another key is planning and never eating stuff without knowing my points beforehand.

All of the above! When things first went down, I slacked on tracking and I baked a lot, just out of boredom plus I do love to bake! I could tell within a few weeks I was feeling cruddy and my pants were tighter! I didn't want to go back to work in the Fall(I'm a teacher) and have gained X amount of weight. I actually thought that would be exciting to see everyone again, months later and have lost weight and knowing I can keep that up has driven me. Given, this finally all kicked in for me about a week or 2 ago but I am determined to lose the weight I've gained so far and continue to lose!

When I started WW I started using paper clips for each pound I lost. If I lost 2 pounds I added 2 paper clips.  that way as I lost I had a visual to go and look at. If I gained that week instead of lost I kept it on, I just couldn’t add any more on until I lost. I keep it around my car rear view mirror that way I was always looking at it. It got to the point that the paper clips got so long it was dragging in my dashboard even when I made it into a loop. Then I stared using colored beads. One color was for each pound and another different color for my 5 pound loss. But I still have it around my rear view mirror. It’s a constant reminder of the great weight loss and how not to give up.

My challenge is constantly eating. My success is getting into my bra, underwater, jeans and shirt everyday and making sure I am comfortable dressed in my clothes. In the first few weeks I wasn’t. Not weighing myself constantly but watching my spare tire getting smaller. I am also eating less and less carbs and more salads, fruits, rice cakes, oatmeal , filling foods that aren’t as fattening as bread, potatoes, pasta. Which are my favs!
