I haven’t tried any desserts that use artificial sweeteners before. My concern is a chemically taste. I don’t want to make a dessert and find out I don’t care for the taste/aftertaste. Is there an artificial sweetener that someone can recommend uses that doesn’t alter the flavor? Thanks!

Truvia is good you use less than what the recipe calls for it will tell you the measurements on the bag.

I don’t like any of the sweeteners - even the natural ones like Stevia taste nasty to me. I did find one called Sukrin Gold that WW influencer recommended. It’s a brown sugar and really, really good. I got it on Amazon.

Does Monkfruit have calories per teaspoon? If so it is not a free sweetener I assume. Checking, have never purchased it.

I’ve used a few different ones and I have no problem with taste. funny thing tho I can’t stand the taste of diet sodas. just watch the amount, to much and then it starts to have an funky taste

Monk fruit tastes great in baking. Can’t tell the difference except I don’t have cravings afterwards. Good in hot choc or tea.

Thanks everyone! Guess it’s all in the person. Just wish I could get samples of them all to try before I purchase anything in bulk

I like raw stevia, no sweet cravings afterward. Some like the taste others do not. I do not use a lot, one packet, even half a packet is enough for me. I sprinkle on after baking cookies or whatever.

I only use Monk fruit or xylitol. They are not artificial. And xylitol is good for you. Taste just like sugar

I learned and used recipes from WW app to make deserts by cutting down sugar instead of sugar substitutes. It’s still have points but taste will be much more satisfying.
