What is a good, cheaper alternative to Built Bars?

Built bars are really different than any other protein bars I have had. keep an eye out for when they have sales, because they can be scored for a reasonable price. I don’t think they are worth more than $1 each, so that is when I stock up, when I have discount codes that can be combined. Otherwise, for something sweet and low in points, I agree with the fiber one bars as being the best alternative.

Quest bars are relatively low in points. About 4-6 each. They sell them everywhere. But most commonly target.

I, too, wait for the deals on Built Bars, stock up on them and freeze. They come out to under $2 apiece and I think that they are worth it. So good for only 3 points.

Many flavors, covered in dark chocolate. My favorite is the coconut one. If you get one that is more than 110 calories, those would be 4 points on blue. They are like candy bars. 1 per day.

I buy snickers hi protein bars, cut them in half and pop them in the fridge. 3 points per half.

I am waiting to use my $12 gift card until tomorrow I hope it’s worth the wait I love the boost so I hope the new flavors are good and are at a good price

@essa1204 I bought my first box of 18 count and was skeptical. I bought the mixed box so I can try different flavors. There were a few that I didn’t “love” but I was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed most of them. This is a list I compiled of each bar raking my favorite first and least favorite last. I know, I’m weird! Lol! Built Bars: German Chocolate Cake-5 pts Salted Caramel Chocolate-3 Toffee almond-4 Coconut almond-3 Double chocolate-3 Peanut butter brownie-4 Coconut Chocolate Creme-3 Mint Brownie Delite-3 Peanut Butter-4 Black Cherry Chocolate Creme-3 Orange Chocolate creme-3 Banana nut bread-4 I will try to order my favorites and hopefully on sale since they are a little pricey.

I’m not a huge fan. The outside chocolate is good but the consistency inside doesn’t appeal to me. It’s gooey and reminds me of a chocolate marshmallow filled candy bar. Lots of people love that but not me.

@essa1204 they are better if you put them in the refrigerator. I would suggest doing the multi pack and chose your favorites. Ones I thought I would love, I didn’t.

I really like the Almond/ coconut. Not thrilled with the German chocolate cake or the Banana Nut bread. I will eat them because I bought them and they ARE filling. Both of those flavors have a heavy aftertaste. I am hearing that the toffee one is really good.
