I have the Arlo pro 2 - 4 camera setup with one base station. The two cameras and video doorbell at the front of the house (farthest from base) have a very poor signal and slow response time. I bought a powerline WiFi extender to boost the signal, but do I need an additional base station to connect these cameras to? The ones closest to the base and router do not have any issues.

Keep in mind that a 2nd basestation needs to be connected by Ethernet to the same router your 1st basestation is connected to.

The mesh system router would allow you to plug your 2nd base into one of your satellites as long as your satellite has Ethernet plugin. I’ve tested this and it works.

It's best to have the base by the wifi router
