Question

I have the Arlo pro 2 - 4 camera setup with one base station. The two cameras and video doorbell at the front of the house (farthest from base) have a very poor signal and slow response time. I bought a powerline WiFi extender to boost the signal, but do I need an additional base station to connect these cameras to? The ones closest to the base and router do not have any issues.

I believe that Arlo sets up a network of its own to connect the devices so the extender won't do much for you.

In fact it might be necessary to buy a new base because the WiFi extender don’t affect the arlo network as the caleras’ have their own network
