Question

Need some help folks, I hooked up my camera to constant power and now the night vision doesn't come on. Any ideas why this isn't working now?

I'd "reset" the camera first by removing AC power and also the battery for a few seconds. Then reconnect the AC power. Then check the camera is working. Then insert the battery again. The Pro 2 will be recording all the time under AC power as it stores 3 seconds of video to show you what happened before the motion activation (Arlo Foresight). This also means that in the dark, the IR illuminators are on all the time.

@erbe75 yup. The Arlo Foresight is independent of CVR. It's only 3 seconds but it makes a big difference

You also get activity zones with AC power on a Pro 2 that you would only get otherwise if you paid for a plan

@terrie Thanksng I did all the steps you said to do and even re-synced the camera to the base. I guess we'll see what happens when it gets dark (fingers crossed! )
