Hi all.  Hope everyone is doing well.Hi all. Hope everyone is doing well. I had to do a factory reset on my VMB4000 bc everything stopped working and it was the last resort. I got it up and running, however I’m now seeing base station broadcasting its SSID in my network list. Isn’t this a security risk? I did not see this before as “Arlo xxxx. ” I’ve had Arlo Pro system for 17 months. 1. Is there a way to not have it broadcast 2. I’m planning to move the base station in between a camera with very low signal and the router using an extender, and issues anyone sees before I do this? Much obliged.

All mine broadcast. Is it a security risk? Yes. But so are all wireless cameras if you know what you’re doing.

They've all always broadcast. Unfortunately you can't change that

Having the base station in the middle between cameras is ideal. If the cameras are further apart, having multiple base stations is the next best solution
