Question for the group.  I currently have the original or gen 1 arlos .Question for the group. I currently have the original or gen 1 arlos . These are several years old , and for the most part been good cameras. Now starting to have issues. My question is can any of the new cameras work on my system? I currently on the 7day free storage, don't want to loose that. So, what are my options?

Pro 2s are compatible but not the 3 I think and for sure not the Ultra. I would buy one Ultra with new base and get free plan for 1 year, assuming that is still out there.

The website would be able to answer that question. My understanding the cameras are not backward compatible to the older base stations. But you can use the older cameras with newer base stations.

I believe the Pro 2s still have the 7 day free option. The Pro 3s requires a subscription.

I have 10 cam total on free plan. Hate to loose that . Just need to upgrade maybe 4 cams that are giving issues

Unlikely you have 10 cameras for free. More likely you have 2 accounts of 5 cameras each and are granting access from one to the other. As above, if you want to keep not paying anything monthly, get the Arlo Pro or Pro 2 cameras and don't try to put more than 5 cameras on any one account. The base station that comes with the Pro and Pro 2 cameras is the same VMB4000. It has a built in siren and USB local storage which are both handy. Your current VMB3000 doesn't have those
