Hello group!  I got a question.Hello group! I got a question. I have purchased an Arlo camera set thru Amazon about 2 years ago and when I got them in they are all labeled netgear instead of arlo I know there the same but was wondering. What’s the big difference between the two? I am wanting to add in cameras and was wondering if I could add an Arlo camera to the netgear hub.

Netgear owned Arlo. About a year or so ago Arlo separated. In theory no difference. They are just Arlo now.

@knott yes you can. Or you can buy a pro camera with a base station as well.

@locule6011 i think there is a difference on the function, i bought an arlo with a new hub it has geofencing, the older base hub i buy 2nd hand is older no geofencing even if the softwares are up to date.
