Hey guys!  I have Arlo Pro VMB4000 I read all instructions, watched how to set up smart base with phone but it is not working.Hey guys! I have Arlo Pro VMB4000 I read all instructions, watched how to set up smart base with phone but it is not working. I can't connect it. Anyone help? Please.

It is plugged into your router directly and what are the lights on the base station doing?

Lights are both on. My phone searching fo this smart base but cat find

Odd, lights look ok anyway. I take it phone is definitely on the same WiFi as the router the base is connected to? You go through the pairing "dance" in the app and how far does it get?

Also, just to make sure, the WiFi configuration in your router doesn't block access to local devices?

You access that base station thru the ARLO AP. Not directly to the phone.

Is this a brand new Arlo Pro kit?

If you have not, download the ARLO AP on your phone then log into your account.

@fourlegged did you buy it brand new in a sealed box or did you buy it from someone? If you got it from someone, it will still be registered to their account and you’ll need to reset it

Are you using the AP?

I presume you have an ARLO account and can access the base and cameras via the my. arlo. com website.

If not, you can set up your account via the ARLO AP. When it opens click the create account link at the bottom.

As I understand from instruction 1st I have to set up smart base with phone right? Than connect cameras?

You need to create the account. You can link the cameras to the base station first. But you will not see them until you log into your account.
