Hello, new to the group and wondering how are the Arlo Ultra? Any problem?

I’ve had the ultra for over a year and love it. The wide angle lens and the built in spot light alone are worth the extra cost.

They're fine but really the 4K video from them isn't any better than the 2K from the Pro 3 cameras. If you're happy to pay a monthly subscription fee, I'd say get the Pro 3. The Ultra also has wind noise reduction but I haven't done a side by side comparison to see how much of a difference that makes. I can't say I have a lot of wind noise issues with other cameras though. I see BestBuy has the Arlo Pro 3 kit with 4 cameras for $649 whereas the Ultra kit with 4 cams is $999

My ultra is having communication problems during colder temps.

I used 4 Ultra cameras (500 miles from my viewing location) all winter. The 3 outside worked almost flawless during this time. Note: Only one time did one camera not operate in night vision but was fine the next day. About 3 times, moisture on the lens inhibited a good image. Problem solved the next day w/ daylight.

I like the pro 3. I don’t think it’s worth getting the ultra from people’s reviews on them.
