Hi all, recently bought a pro3 4 camera set up and trying to refine the system. It’s still on the free 3 month trial. I have animal notifications turned off on all cameras but over night I get a lot of animal notifications. Is this due to having the free trial at the moment or something else? Thanks in advance for any help Rick

It may still capture movement but just not label it animal? I love catching animals on ours.

We have a cat and there’s several cats around my house so the majority of my notifications are just cats moving around which I’d like to remove so just wondering what I need to do beyond turning animals off in notifications

@dyedinthewool You could try the zones if they are in a particular area but it might reduce catching humans. Or you can decrease the sensitivity of the motion detector. That should do it!

Ok thank you I’ll give it a go

@dyedinthewool did you try setting up the activity zones? I know without the activity zones it will give motion to everything.

@hornblende4 yeah I have on all 4 cameras

The smart notifications is just supposed to stop from getting all the actual notifications to your phone. However the videos still record. Are you getting notifications? Your free trial may have run out? If its just the videos are still there, there isn't really a good way to stop them from recording, you just wont get notified.

@locule6011 yeah I am getting notifications including animal ones which is actually turned on so I shouldn’t be getting g them. The free trial is only about 2 weeks old

@dyedinthewool so animal notifications is on? Then you get them. Turn off, you wont get them. Unless you mean something else?

Sorry I meant it’s switch off. Was a typo

@dyedinthewool ok that makes sense. I assume they are turned off for the camera in question? Shouldn't be getting them.

@locule6011 they are turned off on all four cameras but still get them. Sorry if my post was confusing

If you have animal turned off then does the notification say animal or say motion? If it says animal then it’s not doing right. If it says motion then you’re going to get the notification because it’s classified as motion and not as animal.

That 12:32 animal was a cat. And that 4:07 motion was a cat. Sometimes it doesn’t register it as an animal

@stridor it says animal on the notification and video even though animal is turned off

@dyedinthewool hm then seems like it’s just not working right. Is it doing it after prolonged? Maybe needs time to adjust

@stridor it’s been doing this for a few day’s since I set it up. I figured I’d leave it a couple of days to settle before posting.

@dyedinthewool hm I can’t say I am any help then. I do not know.
