Just to be sure I understand this, the Arlo security cameras require their own base station? They wont tie to the base station for Pro 2 cameras?

Pretty much all cameras can connect to your Pro 2 base station except Q and Q+ and Baby that connect directly to your router. Also video doorbell and Pro 3 Floodlight can connect to either the base station or router

But the Security cameras require a bridge to work?

Do you mean the Security Lights?

@terrie Thanksng Damn, I typed the whole question wrong (fail). Yes the lights.

Yeah, the lights run on low energy, long range Bluetooth so they need their own bridge. The bridge connects to your wifi though so it can be anywhere in the house (as close to the lights as you can get it)

The wireless cameras require their own base station, i. e., VMB3500/4000/5000, and do not connect your existing wireless router. The "VMB" connects directly to your wireless router via cable.
