Question

Do any Arlo - Blink or Ring cameras work when your internet is down ? Or disconnected ?

Arlo work & record with no internet provided you have inserted a USB stick and enabled local storage

So if the internet is down - the cameras will still communicate with the base ? Do you know if ring and blink have to have wifi to work ?

@convertiplane yes, I don't know. I also have a UPS or backup battery for the base station, and my internet. Therefore, I'm more likely to still have recordings for small power interruptions.

@convertiplane yes, the cameras talk to the base directly using the base's wifi signal. As long as the base has power you will get a local recording. If the internet is down, though, you will not get a notification as that comes through the Arlo cloud server. I, too have my base and my internet router on a UPS.
