Hi there.  need some help here guys.Hi there. need some help here guys. i purchased a arlo pro 2 wire free camera a while ago. just wondering if anyone here is having trouble with 3-5 second delay on recording? Noticed that when it detects motion it will trigger record and by the time i check the video the person is already half way or already gone in the frame. i have tweaked all the settings but still having the same problem. any suggestions?

I've always had that. It's due to the amount of time it takes for your camera to get to the base, then to the cloud, and finally to your device.

@raber no, I'll try that. But I still think it's my wifi. I also have a Ring doorbell and I have the same issue.

@raber I did that, too. All 4 of mine trigger when 1 triggers. I just bought the CVR plan on 1 to see if it makes a difference.

Base station distance and/or internet speed issue (need very very fast for this product)

Constant power will get you 3 seconds of recording prior to motion/audio activation. Also arlo motion lights can trigger a camera.

All 4 of my cameras are plugged in, makes no difference in the delay.

Get you a few Arlo lights. Then place them to trigger the Camara. This will start the Camara before anything comes in view. The light serves other purposes but this is gold.

Do a speed test on your wifi.
