Someone I know recently divorced and the ex is the Arlo Pro primary account owner. He has moved out and she has the base station and two cameras. He removed her from the account. Can she buy a used base station and connect the two cameras? Since it is a different base station he won't have access, correct?

She can reset the base with a paper clip in the little reset hole. He will lose any access. She then makes a new account (or she can use her current account) and adds the base to her account.

@sansom by using the reset button it should set to factory setting, automatically unlinking it from the account. Same with the cameras, they all have the factory reset little button that requires a paper clip or other small tool to press.

@locule6011 I don't see a reset button on the cameras. Can they be re-synced after resetting the base even though they weren't "removed" by the first account owner?

@sansom I believe its inside the battery compartment. And I believe they can be resynced. I have had to do it, not for divorce purposes.

Have them put it in the divorce proceedings. Regardless of possible ways to reset.

I understand resetting the base but if it were that easy to reset the cameras, wouldn't they go missing all the time? Maybe not. I guess Philips Hue landscape lights can be stolen and added to a new base.
