Plugged a thumb drive into my base last week. Just checked, and there's nothing on it. How do I get it to save on the thumb drive?

Settings > My Devices > [Name of your base station] > Storage Settings > Enable Record Locally and click USB Device 1 > format if necessary. Also enable Overwrite Automatically. Also ensure you have a VMB4000 or newer

@terrie Thanksng I hit a dead end. Got to my base station, and do not see an option for storage settings.

@eudo1 that unit does not have USB backup capability, sorry. The USB ports are not functional for users

@terrie Thanksng a USB isn’t very much storage either if you get a unit with the local drive option get an external hard drive

128GB flash drive lasts quite a long time before it's full and overwrites but if you want to keep a lot more, yes a 2TB external HDD is the max capacity
