Question

I’m thinking of starting a side hustle delivering food. Does anyone else here deliver for Uber eats or Postmates? What do you like/not like?

I deliver for Postmates. the pay is not very good. I have heard that the other companies pay more than Postmates!

@isomerism40 this is true. Almost all of my deliveries with Postmates have paid between $3. 50 and $4. 50. Most customers do not tip.

In my area Uber eats was good when there were promotions. Otherwise it’s not busy enough

Hubby does Doordash. He tried all the others and Doordash was consistently higher each week. It really depends on your location.

In my area, South Florida, I am not a huge fan of Postmates because they do not tell you how much you will be paid for a job, only if you want to accept or decline delivery. I like UberEats and Doordash better. UberEats gets pretty busy and almost all of my customers tip on the app. With Doordash, in order to do deliveries, you need to choose a schedule. It is hard to find a schedule for my areas and at the times that I am available to do deliveries since I am do it part time.

I do both uber eats and doordash. I prefer uber eats because I make more with them :)

I do DoorDash. I love it. Once you get going after r a few weeks you can schedule around a regular job or life. And I like that I can choose not do it for a few weeks or month if I don’t wanna.

I do postmates and doordash. In my area I have to drive 30 min to use either so if I go I need jobs. Its hit and miss but I've noticed I get bigger tips on postmates than doordash‍♀️ still getting used to both so. Postmates is nice that I can "go online" whenever and not have to schedule or wait for busy time like doordash. But I will say when I am scheduled eith doordash I have mo re e orders than PM

I deliver for doordash. I like it and the money is good.
