If it helps you - my tax bill is $9000 (3x more than what I anticipated - but it just means I made more money than I thought - and planned for - and obviously didn't prepare like I should have (like take out 30% and set aside. I got lazy. I should note, I'm self employed) Are you still able to make the minimums? If you set aside $35-40/a day for the next 90 days you'll get to 3 grand! Good luck - you can do it! You can also do a payment plan with the IRS - and they will ask you to make one initial payment and then monthly payments afterwards.
