Do you have an actual apple tv? Or something with an ESPN app? We cut cable and use my mom’s cable log in for sports and other network apps as well.

@hairy we just cut our Hulu bill in half by switching to YouTubeTV
by (430 points)
Same! We have Netflix and prime also. But, we went from paying $330/month to $130 for everything and that includes internet as well. Youtube Tv made the difference.

If you have ad-free Hulu you can’t bundle, I believe. I have them separately.
by (1.4k points)
They only have bundle for hulu with ads I think. At least that's what I found when I checked
by (870 points)
@cental if you have Verizon they had a deal before too. I have Disney+ free for a year.

Does Disney plus/Hulu/ESPN combo meet his needs?
by (760 points)
@hippy I’m going to look into it. I read someone said ESPN plus doesn’t have live channels. but I’m hoping
by (3k points)
J. m. Allen I’m not sure what’s included. My hubby doesn’t watch sports. Lol. We don’t use ours.

If a family member has dish you can log in and watch espn through that and a bunch of other stuff too like tlc and basically anything. I use my parents account and that’s how I do it I live in another state, I just have all the apps and when you log in you can log in through your tv provider. I’m not sure if other ones do it like direct tv but you can try!

At the beginning of this month we got rid of cable after 2 decades. We now have YouTube TV. I’m pretty sure our package includes ESPN.

The only problem I have is that teams in your area are blacked out. We live in central Missouri so the cardinals, the blues, the cheifs, the royals, all games are blacked out. We haven’t found a way to actually watch them live without paying the same price as full cable

Disney plus has Hulu, Disney and ESPN for $12
by (440 points)
@interpellant171 ESPN +. It’s only highlights and what events they decide to share- none of the big ones . We got an antenna off amazon for $16 for local channels to get the big sports events

I often wonder this as well. I have my Roku and firestick but I am forced to keep Comcast for internet. My area’s only internet provider is Comcast unfortunately. I’ve even tried to get rid of their cable and just keep internet and somehow that ends up costing me only a few dollars less. If anyone has a suggestion as to how to use my Roku and firestick without a ridiculous Comcast bill, I would love any suggestions

@oppen is this an app on smart tv ?
by (2.2k points)
@eb835 yes. It's easy to add. The website gives instructions on adding it to your firestick or Roku. I did it on my own which says a lot.

Locked down tv on your firestick. I’m sure it’s illegal, buttttt. lol. We get cable for 20 dollars a month. All channels!
by (680 points)
@stagnant who do you use to provide the internet access for it? That’s where my problem lies. Comcast for just internet alone is about the same price for both internet and cable. Comcast is the only internet/cable provider in my area.
by (410 points)
@rakeoff305 Kruze I use Comcast, but it was cheaper to do internet and then 20 for locked down tv. Puts us at like 120 for the month and we get every channel. It was 170 for the tv and internet through Comcast  after our 2 year rate

We used to pay for espn+ but now bundle it with Disney + and Hulu and get a huge discount. But espn+ alone is only $4. 99 a month and worth it since that is primarily what my husband watches.

YouTube TV plays all the games Live. I think they have a lot of the other things that show on ESPN as well, but I'm not sure. Research it a little more to see if that would be a good option!
