Hello all.  Was hoping to get some feedback.Hello all. Was hoping to get some feedback. I’m torn between ordering the actual workbook or ordering the digital printable version. I like the idea of printing it myself but also like the idea of the actual spiral bound workbook. What are you’re preferences? Tks

I ordered the printable version. I bought a Happy Planner on clearance and the whole puncher. I find it easy because I can take the pages in and out as needed without needing to flip back and forth every time.

Are they exactly the same. Just one is printed and the other one is already done?

Printable, it is so easy to customize what you need, add/take away pages, I love it!

I have both and prefer the printable

I have spiral for my personal and printable for my business. Next year I’ll do printable for everything. It’s so nice to be able to print more tracking sheets if needed or if you mess up badly on one sheet, you can reprint and rewrite and it looks nice again lol

I printed myself and then had it spiral bound for $10 at FedEx Kinkos.

It's much more expensive for me to print. I thought I bought the workbook last year but had the download instead. Going to print only certain pages this year

The bound version will not be available until later in the year so you are better off getting the download for now

Right now u don’t have a choice since the bound book is out of stock and I got the digital and love it cause I can print what I want. Some of the other talented people on here put it on their laptops and can use it digitally.

I bought the digital one and love it. I just print a few months at a time. I have my own printer at home so I don’t have to pay someone else to print it for me. Plus if I need extra sheets of a page, I have it on my computer.

My favorite thing about the printable is that I can print out the pages I need, punch the right holes in them, and put them right in my planner so everything is all in one place.

I got the digital first, then I bought the hard copy, love them both! I started using the workbook in January of this year!

I just bought a new workbook two days ago and it was on sale for $40. This will be my second one since April.

I purchased the printed version, but the digital gives you the option to print the pages you want in any amount you need. I have had to make copies of certain pages.

I got the digital version and absolutely love it! I print it month to month and only the pages I need. I noticed the actual workbook has a lot of pages I wouldn’t have even used. I can make it how I want it which is much more motivating to me to actually keep up with it.

Digital version is bomb. I don’t do cash envelopes and need lots of extra expense pages

Question. I no longer have a printer at home. What are some options of having the digital one printed? I know places like Staples can bind it for me. can I print it there as well?

@dierdre Our library system gives us a monthly printing allotment, then is pretty darn reasonable if you want to print more. If you print a month at a time, this should work fine. Also, the money goes further if you print black and white vs. color, so I do that. Check to see if yours does the same.

I use the digital workbook on my iPad and LOVE it. I also like doing it that way because I can either delete pages I'm not using or copy and paste ones that I need extra of (Like the expense tracking pages)

@slaty Any tips on how to easily do this? I’ve seen lots of posts saying it took a lot of time to get it set up and I just don’t have the patience for it.

@battologize I LOVE the app Notability. You just upload the PDF in there. I don't have a "notebook" set up - I just scroll through the pages until I get to the one I need. I also love Notability because it syncs with my iPhone and computer so I can access the book anywhere I want

@slaty thanks!

@battologize No prob! I think the app is like $5 but it is SO worth it

I bought the book and I love it but honestly personally speaking the digital would have worked out better for me.

I printed just the pages I wanted and had it spiral-bound at OfficeMax for five dollars.  It’s the best of both worlds if you can find cheap printing.

I printed it and put it in a big binder.

I got the workbook as a gift. My original plan (and next year’s plan) was to buy the digital and print it out and hole punch it with my Big HP Punch and put it on discs.

Printable - the amount of times I'm had to reprint pages ‍♀️

Plus reusable. Don't need to clutter binder if you don't use certain pages. Etc.

Printable. You can reuse it every year. Just make sure when you print it you only print one month at a time or if you want to print the whole thing you don’t print all the pages. Each month in her workbook has 5 weeks of budgeting, but I only get paid twice a month except twice a year when I get a third paycheck. That right there is 6 less pages to print every month. I also don’t use all the work sheets. So you can save yourself a lot of money when printing if you just do the sheets you need.

I have the workbook but next time I'll just print. it's pretty thick and I don't use all the pages in it. I may actually just tear apart the book now and put into a small folder or binder since it has the 3 hole punch already

Personally, I like the digital, it is printable and can be printed every year, so you are saving money. Also, I only print what I need from the workbook, in the order I want it, I like the flexibility and freedom of making it my own.
