Do y’all buy your cash envelopes or make them yourself?

I made my own out of scrapbook pretty paper and a laminator, works perfectly

How do you laminate them? like just the outside it laminated, like after they are folded?

@fro3239 Leigh McFo I laminate my own envelopes when they’re closed (like this emoji ✉️ lol) and then use an x-acto knife to cut on the line of the opening flap.

@george fold the paper laminate it then cut close to the open end of the paper so that it opens and the rest is still sealed

I’ve been making mine out of scrapbook paper. I do pay to print the ones Miko provided with the Savings Challenges though.

@chiarra20 i send them to FedEx. It’s $. 65 a page. They use the nice thick 32lb paper too.

I made my own for the first time this weekend. I printed Miko’s from her newsletter Friday out on card stock paper. I was using regular mailing envelopes before.

@leavening99i understand that, i was in Europe for a little bit and some of the $1 and $5 are coins. i don’t use them as much. So i gave some to my daughter to use with the change she gets.

I just buy a box of 100 envelopes from the Dollar Tree and I made my own “trackers” that I glue to the front and back of the envelope. My envelopes stay home. I only carry with my grocery and my own personal money.

I bought sets of Christmas cards after the holidays, the kind meant for gifting money, and used those envelopes. I use an index card inside for tracking, so I can reuse them until they fall apart.

I use the mini $ store envelopes. Cheap and works just fine :) I also made some but the cardstock was too thick I think.
