Over the last month I’ve been cutting down on my expenses. Letting hair go naturally curly. No more color treatments. And today I’m letting my nails go natural. But they are so flimsy and sensitive. Any nail strengthening tips? I’d rather pay $ for a good strengthener than fall back into the nexgen routine.

There’s a company called Nailtique that makes a post acrylic strengthener polish that I really like. It’s pretty inexpensive as well which is always a bonus. You can find it at Sally’s.

The sally Hansen 5in1. It’s in a pink square bottle. Best stuff ever. And the cuticle rehab is awesome too!

Make sure you are taking your vitamins! That's all it took for my nails to become fantastic after horrible issues.

I was like that. because of my anxiety. to the point were I would bleed. I have been practicing mindfulness and that really helped a lot

yeah mine is anxiety/stress. I get them to look good, which takes time. then one anxiety ridden moment creates a must bite. Ugh. Viscous cycle.

I used clear polish and a few coats. It worked well for me until they grew back properly.

Honestly, take vitamin D or prenatal. Also, use a clear polish but apply it thickly or paint your nails and use a top coat. Nail strength polish can make your nails a bit more brittle. Oh! And the cuticle cream tip is an awesome idea!

Bee Pollen supplement. It is awesome! Strengthens hair, skin and nails amongst many other benefits. Or you can take a prenatal.

Look for a product called Trind. It’s the only thing that works for me. I do also take collagen and hair, skin and nail vitamin.

Just keeping my nails painted (I used gel polish like Sally's) worked perfectly. My nails are strong and look great.

Things I’ve done so far to better our lives since finding TBM last month: •switched amazon prime to prime student- (WONT cancel because being overseas.Amazon is a lifesaver) •bought reusable ziplocks-no more plastic ziplock bags •started using the diva cup instead of tampons •canceled subscriptions (bark box, chegg, grammerly, HBO, Starz and many more) •informed my family I WILL NOT be doing holidays or birthdays this year, in effort to pay off ALL debt and save for a trip that was already planned •got serious about couponing and buying local produce (which is cheaper than commissary) •cut utility costs by not running water for to long and turning off (&unplugging) when not in a room •bought eco friendly plates, no more plastic or glass (my gf tends to...
