Good Morning All, I am very much in survival budget planning here, so I wanted to ask wwyd in my situation. Here it is: ✅I'm currently looking for a great full time job. right now I caregive pt so I need to get back to gaining income to pay all of my bills. Since walking away from my former job (for mental reasons) I've had to prioritize a lot of bills. ✅ before leaving in aug 2019, in june2019, my son and I moved in with my parents to help them with their mortgage. My mom is retired and my father will at the end of june. Here is my first step dilemna: ✅ I've applied to many jobs but I'm hearing crickets. Very frustarating! These include CA state jobs. Should I contact all of them? I need to get ready to get more income by june because my dad's income will go down. Help I need another perspective. Sorry for the long post, but Thanks

It could be your resume format. I would ask someone to look it over

A couple of things: 1. It can’t hurt to follow up on the jobs you’ve applied for, but state jobs can take many many months to go through the vetting process, so they may just not have gotten to them yet. 2. Realistically, you need to come up with a good reason you left your full time job. I’ve been on the other side (hiring) and blanks on the resume are red flags. If you get an interview, you need to be able to respond in a professional way about why you needed time off and why THIS job would be different for you.
