How am I saving money? I’m not the best online shopper. I’d say a good 60% isn’t what I would purchase if in store. fit not right, color, etc. I could just keep it and maybe wear it once or twice or make my daughter wear the item just because I already bought it. Nope! I had 4 things to return to target, 2 shirts that I found in my daughters closet with tags from January. a pair of pants that ripped after a few wears and another item I didn’t need! $60+ in returns. I know it isn’t a lot but yet it makes me feel like I’m bring intentional with my money!

I used to be terrible about returning items. Now i make it a point to. The other day i bought a make up remover. I hated it because it felt like VICKS being rubbed on my face. Took it back two days later. It’s not taking up space in my bathroom or budget.

@boyla food i don’t really do but I’ll get there. Well i guess produce i don’t do. I have returned protein powders and such that were awful.

@hellbox395 I don’t do it if I let it spoil but if I bring something home and it’s bad with a day or 2 or moldy but within expiration date I will. If I wouldn’t thrown the money on the street, I won’t throw it away on food that should be good!

Yes! We just bought a popcorn pot. It’s being returned! I made it in a regular pot came out great! No need for an extra pot just for popcorn! We are learning! ❤️❤️❤️

How did you return ripped pants?

@scopula919 they were probably pretty new and didn't last. I would have called the company, but a lot of stores will take them back if you have the receipt. Even without the paper tags they can match the item up to the receipt.

@scopula919 I wore them 3 times, the entire waistband came apart. It was clearly an issue with the pants. She actually apologized and didn’t think twice.

I ran around town and did returns at 3 stores today and I feel SO refreshed. Less stuff and more money. I still have more to do, but it felt so good. So I totally get you!

We did something similar in December. We got our youngest a seat to sit in from my husbands grandma he sat in it once and liked it but the next time he didn’t fit. We kept it for a week trying it a few more times but his thighs were too chunky. So we returned it. We took the $40ish and got himself else. He is teething like crazy so he gets more use out of the silicone teether than he would out of the seat. I needed diapers so I did a target pick up for a gift card. although we have the fund for diapers; household and stuff for our vacation. It was still hard to press purchase  my mind was like do we have the funds for that. But I know we do.
