My Xfinity / Comcast bill is $245 a month for internet, cable and house phone (which isn’t even plugged in but was $6 cheaper a month to keep it). My contract has been over and my sister & her hubby use Sling TV & Amazon (with Firestick) and are happy. Do you prefer Roku or Firestick? And Sling or other option? I still want Hallmark, Food Network, Lifetime, TLC, A&E, but also want the basic NBC, ABC, CBS. What do you use as far as the stick, company, how did you cut the cord & what size plan for internet do you use (just me and my son, but sometimes we may have phones using wifi, two laptops, a TV or two going). Thanks !

We use YouTube tv connected with google chromecast on the tv. $49. 99 a month. YouTube tv website lists compatible TVs if yours is newer. Also theres a list of available channels. We got a google chromecast during black Friday so it was cheaper. We use just standard internet size and have phones and probably a tablet connected. We love youtube tv. can connect on anything with app like phones or tablets and it has DVR.

I just signed up with spectrum choice. Get all local channels and choose 10 others $30 a month. I cut my bill from $150 having standard cable to a new internet package and this streaming spectrum. Love it!

@standard $22 a month. I’ve used it and loved it. My sister works for xfinity so I use her login for tv now but before Philo worked perfectly for me

We cut the cord last summer after we bought our fire cube! One of the best things we ever did! We have Netflix and Hulu. We kept our internet and upped it to increase our speed. Usually we are both on our iPad and we can stream on 2 TVs with no lag at all. and we are savings a boatload every month!

We use YouTube the and then I would pay for whatever channel the YouTube tv doesn’t have — it’s still cheaper than what you’re paying now

Check out clark. com. It is Clark Howard’s website. He discusses a lot of ways to say money and he has on his website info on streaming networks and cutting out cable. I have an hdtv antennas on my TVs and we have internet for streaming Netflix. My adult son pays for ATT now so that he can watch sports but I think it is too expensive.

We have had Hulu live for two years and have been happy with it. All the channels you listed are on there with the exception of Hallmark. However, you can get the Hallmark app on firestick (I'd imagine Roku as well) and then get a monthly subscription for that, which I think is $5. 99. The app has the full Hallmark library on it. Hulu also has tons of sports channels.
