We use a brita and have the large dispenser and it's on the counter top. We all have our own reusable water bottles.

Reusable water bottles and something like a brita water pitcher. We have a water dispenser on our fridge so we just change out the filters and use that.

Buy a berkey. Lasts ten years before you have to replace filters.

@foreman I have the bottom load and got it at Lowe's a few years ago. They may be cheaper at Walmart

We’re investing in a Berkey water filter. You can buy dented ones that still work perfectly well but might have a small dent or scratch on the outside, but you end up paying way less!

Lydia, I LOVE my Berkey water filter. It fits on the counter perfectly. Our 10yr plan for the house is to redo the kitchen & install a whole house reverse osmosis system. For now, Berkey works great. You’ll love it.

We bought a water machine from Lowe’s. It’s great. We get instant hit and cold from it. We just bought some bottle and refill the. At the grocery store for $. 40 a gallon. Yesterday I filled three 5 gallon bottles for around $6. Those will last us for awhile. The best part is the kids can refill their water bottle themselves. We each have our own Hydroflask and that’s where the bottle goes for us to drink it.

We did this in November, i bought 2 brita filters, one for the fridge and one for my kids. We all have reusable bottles. The filters last up to 3 months so it is way cheaper than buying bottled water. And it is safer for the environment.

I drink straight from my sink  I have a well so i know it only comes from our ground but y’all are making me think I need a filter?

@chalmer3497 yes we have very good and safe tap water in my state, it blows my mind when I learn that other people completely rely on bottled water for drinking. I guess I’m very fortunate.

@chas328 us too! I mean we have elevated iron levels in our water but have a filtration system in the basement that the well water goes through before hitting our sink. does it taste as crisp as a Poland spring bottle? No but I’m still alive

We reuse gallon pitchers and fill them at a water station. It’s 0. 25 a gallon so we spent $1/week for 4 gallons
