For those that are cable free, what tv streaming service do you use (SlingTV, YouTube tv, etc)? - Already have Hulu/Netflix, etc. - Do you also use your own internet/WiFi equipment or what the internet company provides?

When we dropped cable we only added YouTube tv (we had prime and netflix already) so we save a ton of money a month and we still get all local channels.

@blaspheme4 from youtube!

Plus youtube has an unlimited dvr and that's included in the $55 price

I just switched to YouTubeTv as well. Love it so far. It also has live sports channels which was something my husband did not want to lose. It also allows you to have something like 6 connections at any given time.

We have YouTube TV because it has the most sports options. It's about $55/month. We also have Netflix and the basic Hulu package.

We have youtubetv and I like it! The price does keep increasing though. It’s increased by about $20/month. But they justify it by adding more channels. If you’re comfortable with the price, I’d say do it!

I had Hulu + live tv but it is just as expensive as my cable was so I use my BFF’s satellite log in for different channels app’s.

I have a Firestick, then have Netflix and Disney. I'm in Canada so we don't have much for options.

We have Hulu Netflix and Amazon. And Disney + for the kids! We have Hulu live for football season and didn't miss a beat from cancelling cable. We're down to Hulu basic now and I do miss some shows. We had Netflix and Amazon before we cut cable so we didn't really factor those into our costs but we're saving like $80/month with Hulu live and without live were saving like $140!

We are 'cable free' but spend as much as we did with cable. We had to increase our internet data to handle the streaming. We have Netflix ($13), Hulu Live ($55), Disney+ ($70 per year) and will be adding HBO Max in May for $15. Probably at some point I will spend $10 for a Korean/Japanese TV show app. It adds up. But we're at our limit for what we want and the brightside is that anything can be canceled and restarted whenever we need a break.

I am cutting the cord this weekend and will be going with YouTube Tv. Their tv channel lineup resembles what I have now for cable and love the unlimited DVR . And can’t beat the price

YoutubeTV- I own my modem so no equipment from cable company for internet. I have the Black Friday deal Hulu- 1. 99 month and I share Netflix and Prime with my sister. Much cheaper with way more channels than cable

@blaspheme4 My boyfriend had an extra one and set it up for me as I’m not great about connecting that stuff- I think they are not too expensive at Walmart. I didn’t want to pay the $5 a month charge to use the cable company equipment. It is a modem/router by Motorola

Tubi is free and totally worth watching on my cellphone. They have way more than Netflix and Prime for free. If the person we rent from didn't pay the crazy amount for cable and internet, I'd be TOTALLY fine living with library rental movies and spending more time OFFLINE and working on other projects around the home.

*we were cable and internet free for years before moving where we are now 3 years ago.

We switch it up all the time. We actually have a lot more streaming services right now because it’s winter. Once the pool opens up I’m gonna cut it in half again.

I have Netflix (mainly used by the kids) Hulu (mainly used by the oldest kids and the adult males in the house) Amazon prime (I'm the one that uses it the most. WWII documentaries mostly) We also have disney + (my brother pays for that) My fiance's mom let us use her fubo and something else Occasionally I'll bump into vudu (where i store the digital movies I've purchased) and watch some stuff for free. But not very often.
