Teller says “March has double rewards points in some categories” Told her I worked to hard to pay off my cc to go back into debt and ain’t spending $2000 to get 200 rewards points which is equivalent to $2. 00 (I think) . I’m thinking omgosh really?! #AlmostDebtFree #DebtFree2020 #TheJourneyIsHardWorthTheSacrifice

Oldest trick in the sales and marketing game / give them something they are paying for but wrap it around with a different color bow.

I hear ya! Our credit union keeps telling me they have a promo to get 3% cash back on balance transfers. thanks but no thanks. I'lll live without the $60. That kind of marketing just makes people think they are getting something awesome for debt

If you want to play the credit card game it’s not bad to do it but make sure you’re winning! Everyone you should have your savings in a high yield account make a little money  (does anyone have any negatives associated with having an account? I used betterment)

Ignorant here. where do you find a high yield account?
by (1.1k points)
@egest google high yield savings accounts  Betterment has zero fees and 1. 84% interest I felt most comfortable with them but there are plenty with higher interest (you get money for having your money in their account, FDIC insured just like any major bank)
