I just used a three ring binder and made my own page dividers with tabs (I didnt print out the between month pages to save paper) with water damaged scrapbook paper I had laying around.
by (540 points)
@dais same! Plus if you bind it and need to reprint a page, it’s a hassle. Binder all the way
by (900 points)
@chanticleer yes! I've refigured on a couple different pages and it was super easy to swap them out!

I printed double sided at home and bought the large Happy Planner rings. You can find covers also at Office Depot for the Tul brand that will fit the happy planner. I bought Tul month dividers.

Is there a punch that goes with the Happy Planner rings?
by (720 points)
I have the happy planner system too. I think it’s the best because it’s bound like a book but can add and remove pages as you wish.
by (900 points)
@increasing29 I love the happy planner! What a smart idea, might have to try this method next year to keep all my books (recipes/grocery lists, daily planner, business planner and fitness) the same size!
by (710 points)
They also have ones at Staples by Martha Stewart they're the arc binder brand but they use the same punch system! That's what I use and love it because it's a hard cover

@colour the punch for the big size is $49 which is needed for the TBM sheets. whats way too much for me.
by (3.8k points)
@ween286 buy it online from michaels. There is also a code to get another 20% off when you buy online.

by (3.5k points)
@booze can I ask what the cost was? I have a Cinch binder but I'd love to have OD print it on thicker weighted paper

@demandant5 can I ask what the cost was? I have a Cinch binder but I'd love to have OD print it on thicker weighted paper
by (840 points)
I didnt have Office Depot print it so I cant speak to that, but you could always purchase the thicker paper yourself for your home printer. I cant remember how much the dividers were, but the binding itself is only about $5.

Happy planner, and I love it.

I prefer a 3 ring binder because I like to be able to replace pages if I make a mistake and add things like folders to hold my bills for the month and my weekly menu

I used an old Mead FlexBinder. A year of TBM needs at least 1 1/2” binder. Maybe 2” to be comfortable
by (540 points)
I also used the month tabs you can buy. But had some from previous projects

I really recommend just using a 3 ring binder and only printing a few months at a time and the beginning section of the book. And only print what you need. I printed the entire thing and realized now how much money I wasted. I get two paychecks a month (3 twice a year) but the book has more than I need/use. Printing is expensive so you can save a ton by being mindful of what you need. Plus if you bind the entire thing then you have a much bigger book to manage/lug around. I downsized and keep the current month and the next month and some other sheets in at a time.

My sister wasn’t able to get hers to print so she contacted Miko to see about exchanging it for a hard copy of the workbook (and paying the difference) and Miko wouldn’t do it.
by (1.5k points)
@mickey the hard copies are out of print until October.
by (1.5k points)
And I’m confused. The digital copy is just a PDF. There shouldn’t be an issue printing a PDF.
by (790 points)
I don't think there are really hard copies to be exchanged for unfortunately so even if it was a thing to be able to do it, the stock isn't there until later in the year. I'm sure she could get help with the printing?

I printed mine at home and just put it in a 3 ring binder and it's working great! And if I need to reprint I just do it and replace the page (especially my first few times doing it)

3 ring binder I already had so I wasn’t spending any additional money! I only have 3 months at a time in it so I carry around with me daily. Keeps me motivated also doing it like that
