First time budget here, and I need help! I get paid biweekly, and my husband gets paid twice a month. We do not have a joint account, he gives me money each paycheck to help cover bills and expenses. I am thinking of trying the budget by paycheck method, but I need to use some of both paychecks I receive each month to cover our rent. how would you show this on the worksheet? I have to make sure that is covered before I can decide how much to throw at dept and sinking funds.

Can you put Rent (1/2) on the Bills area? And then on the calendar, list all of the paychecks and bills and how you plan to cover each?

@suspensor you can also call most billing places to get the date changed to later in the month (you can't do it on rent but almost all others. although they might only let you do it once a year)
