I get paid the 1st & the 15th & do well budgeting on the first half of the month. However, I lose steam and writing the receipts down to my tracker gets away from me. Next thing I know. there’s 15 receipts or several days have passed and I’ve lost track of the budget. Usually happens after the 20th of the month. This is the 3rd month that it’s happened and I feel stuck. How do I simplify things so I don’t get discouraged or overwhelmed?  NOTE: I have 3 bank accounts that I keep track of which adds to the confusing mess I’ve created for myself. One is a card that is solely for child support & the other is just 200. 00 transfer every month which I use for gas and food.

I track literally as soon as I purchase something in order for that not to happen . I have anxiety so I can’t allow that to happen . I also walk around with my tbm workbook so there’s no excuse  Maybe walk around with a little notebook and write them down then transfer at the end of the week ?

I’m making sure I’m not paying anything with cash ( I begin to loose focus there) I take what I spend off of my transaction history. So far, it’s been pretty good. I filled in what I have to pay & use my wallets on my bank as my “envelopes”. And just fill them as I go. It works for me
