It depends on the renovation you are planning on doing. What’s the renovation?

If you have your Ef funded and there’s no extra debt to put towards, put towards the Reno or invest it.

If I was going to do renovations instead of vacation, I would use it for the renovations. Then, I would start a new vacation fund for 2021.

If there's no debt, I'd do the renovation or contribute towards it. If we didn't have two trips planned this year, I'd be able to get my house painted and kids bathroom reglazed!

First time post but wondering what you guys do when your monthly mortgage payment goes down due to taxes/escrow(not entirely sure why but I feel like the start of every year it either goes up or down slightly) I still have our previous amount budgeted but should I adjust down (thinking not) or continue to make my previous payment amount and apply the additional to principle(?)

Ok everyone I am doing my feb budget and noticing that the second and third week of the month I will be stort of a bill and groceries for the week.but the first and and 4th week I have extra money and the bills can't be moved sooo I was thinking for the paying the 2 small bills that don't fit in second paycheck with paycheck 1 and just pay early (if money is left hubby WILL spend it) and for third week using my credit card to cover groceries and last bill then paying it off on the fourth week?
