Chase freedom unlimited and my Apple Card. Have never paid a penny in interest with a credit card and we earned a little over $800 in cashback in 2019 with those two cards.

@blepharitis how no interest?

@reverence I pay my credit cards in full and don’t carry a balance ever

Treat it like a debit card. Never spend more on it than you have in the bank.

@blepharitis oh gotcha, I should have realized that was what you meant! Long day

@reverence yup! I tend to just pay it off each payday. It’s just habit at this point

That’s my plan too. I really have no credit card self-control issues so once I figure out which has the best rewards I’m gonna open one

Just got a walmart cap one card that offers 5% reward on any app purchases, including grocery pick up which is basically the only way I purchase groceries every month. Hubs has a cap one savor card that gives 3% back at restaurants. Everything else I use my regular cap one card that gives 1. 5% back on everything else

I have CapitalOne and get 1. 5% back. Hubs has Discover which has certain places each quarter that give 5% back (this quarter is grocery stories). We also have a Marriott card which we really cashed in on before kids.

We recently got a Chase Sapphire Preferred for airline miles. I didn't want to be locked into a certain airline as not all airlines go where we want to go or have to go. In my research, it came out having the best point to mile ratio of the lower-tiered, non-airline specific cards.

@miniver I understand and some folks do it, but for us, our credit history and score is no longer important. It just depends on what people need. ‍♀️

We have used Amex for over 20 years but we're looking in to an airline one for the benefits.

I use Chase Freedom- every quarter they have 5% back on certain categories, sometimes grocery stores, sometimes gas, sometimes even certain bills like cable and subscription services. Otherwise it’s 1%. So i also use a capital one card- which is 3% back on dining out and entertainment and 2% on grocery stores all the time
