Mortgage refinancing.  Who gave you the best rates?Mortgage refinancing. Who gave you the best rates? Hubby and I both have 700 FICO scores and looking to lower our rate (from 5. 85) and hopefully our term as well. WF rates are decent but curious to see after you shopped around, who gave you the best rate.

Unfortunately each mortgage company is different. I work for PrimeLending. We have been around since1985 and are very competitive. You will just have to shop around.

What state are you in? You can definitely improve from the 5. 85 if you are in the 700 fico range

@koetke we are in CT. Rates just dropped again today I think so yesterday Wells Fargo gave us 3. 99 on a 20 year and 2. 25 on a 15 year. (We still currently have 27 years left on our loan).

@editor rates are continuing to drop- do your research and jump to refi!

Look for a Mortgage Broker. They can usually do much better than banks. Rates are incredibly low right now on refi’s.

Mr. Cooper mortgage. I was skeptical since they are not well known. But hands down the best rate, great mobile app, and the statements are easy to read.

Lenders usually have their rates listed on their websites. That's a good place to start.

We refinanced in November and got 3. 0 for a 15 year mortgage. I saw this morning they are around 2. 95 so not to much of a drop yet, but certainly something to keep an eye on!

I would start with the credit union I think they are giving the best rates but unsure with this Coronavirus going on.
