Question.  Do any of you put all your recurring bills on a credit card and pay it off each month?Question. Do any of you put all your recurring bills on a credit card and pay it off each month? Most of our bills come out the first half so we struggle living off 300 for 2 weeks. Was thinking if I had a credit card ONLY for recurring bills that I could pay it off each month in two payments when it fits with our income deposits. Thoughts? This would not be a card for anything else except recurring/ monthly bills.
Question. Do any of you put all your recurring bills on a credit card and pay it off each month?

I did this for my phone bill. I never use my cc for anything and was just using it for the bill in hopes it would help my credit. Well the dang card expired without me knowing, I didn’t get a new card in the mail for some reason. I apparently wasn’t checking my phone bill so I didn’t see it wasn’t getting paid. 3 months went by before the phone company got in contact with me. Just if you do it make sure your cards don’t expire ‍♀️ I no longer use it to pay bills and I haven’t reactivated the cc.

Sounds like you need to just get ahead by at least half a month, maybe even one full month. I would work on that instead of relying on a credit card. It just makes more sense that way.

I’d work on paying ahead so that you can eventually split the bills between checks evenly.

Or try calling the companies you pay and see if you can move the due dates? I've been successful at that.

I do this just so I don’t have to worry about forgetting it, granted it’s just my gas and internet so it’s never more that 150/ a month

I use cc for bills and pay them off each month. However, like someone mentioned above you should try to get some of the due dates changed so that it works with your incoming checks and you aren’t living off $300 for two weeks. Or maybe rely on the cc only for some bills and find what works best for you after a month or two.

I do for the ones I can. I would do all my bills if they allowed you to pay with credit card. I have a lot that require checking account deduction only

If i use the credit card to pay bills i pay those amounts off right away. I get paid every week and on payday i pay that weeks bills. Today for example i have 2 bills that i will put on the credit card for $150, i will round up to $160 or whatever my budget allows so i am paying extra on the credit card balance.

I'd just change your due dates around your paycheck schedule

I pay all of our bills with a credit card to earn the rewards points and then I just pay it in full each month so it doesn't accrue any interest. I would see if you can move some of your billing dates or pay early for the following monthly to split things up more.
