Okay a little annoyed right now with my husband. We had both decided that we didn’t want to go over our monthly budget of $500. We’re empty nesters and there’s only 2 of us. He does most of the shopping because I’m on disability (fibro, migraine, etc) We got some great coupons from Meijer and he was going there after work. I worked in the budget until midnight last night and figured out that we have $250 for 2 weeks food/$125 per week. Looking at my log we’ve spent 132. 76 the first week of the pay period (last week) so we have $117 left to spend this coming week. Sooooo I told him what we have left over so he wouldn’t go over it. He says he’s not going to go shopping now because he has a limit to spend. I said, you’re joking right? Nope he was not. Just so frustrated because this is where we always screw up in our budget. Not sure what to do now but go shopping with my calculator in hand later.
