Looking for tips from anyone familiar with the Washington DC area: I’m going on a 5 day work trip (Wednesday-Sunday) there at the end of June and I’m trying to get an idea of what to budget for meals (all 3 meals each day are our responsibility and hotel doesn’t offer breakfast) as well as travel to get to the convention center as well as anything else I may need. Is $100/day realistic, or do I need to plan and prepare for more? ETA: We’re staying at Arc the Hotel downtown and our convention is at the Gaylord Convention Center. No per diem for meals. Work is paying for airfare and hotel, all other costs are on us - there are 7 of us going.
