Edited to add: I’m seeing a lot of comments to fix the AC, editing the post to add that we got quoted $2400 to fix the AC and a check engine light issue which is more than the car is worth that’s why we want to ditch the Toyota I need some opinions.

Question about doing own taxes - my husband and I usually pay a tax professional to do our taxes , the guy we use is familiar with doing taxes for law enforcement so before the reform he helped us with the deductions we could get , but now since you can’t do as much of that I’m considering saving the expense and doing it ourselves .
