How do you all keep motivated when you are about to start on your next debt that is $22, 000? I feel defeated and feel like giving up on this one.

When we pay something off we take a week off. We buy something that we have been wanting or do something fun that wouldn’t have happened because we are saving all of our money for debt. That little break helps us refocus and get back to work! Don’t go off the deep end and only use cash and set a limit but it is fun to celebrate the wins!

Focus on small wins. every step is one in the right direction.

Small steps. Try to get it down under $20k asap. Then it will be under 20k and for some reason, in my brain that's easier than having a debt over 20k. Does that make sense?

Same girl! Hubby and I had a come to Jesus talk tonight and we’re trying to tackle large credit debt like this. I’m terrified but it will be ok!

Small wins. My first goal would be to get under $20, 000 and do a happy dance. Then next goal to get under $15, 000 and so on. You got this!

Definitely small wins. I’m also a visual person so I love having trackers to color in

Get a tracker, and plan a nice (no budget talking) date night at the 25, 50 & 75% marks!

I enjoy watching the numbers go down. It motivates me to keep going. Girl I have made $30 principle payments because that week it was all I could squeeze out.

Our current debt total started at a little over $24, 000. Our tax return return reduced that to $21, 000, then we calculated the earned interest we get every month for our MM account since last May, which knocked off $575, last month, 23% of our income went to paying off that debt. Writing things down, filling in the debt sheet, the Where Did My Money Go? pages really do help motivate me to keep going. It's those eye-opener moments that keep us going.
