Hey guys!  I’m seriously struggling.Hey guys! I’m seriously struggling. I was a bartender. Making great money. And BAM. Covid 19. every thing changed. Now I’m working another job. Making WAY less money. My boyfriend is amazing and is covering most of the bills. I still pay my car payment. And half of the rent. This alone is a struggle for me because I have ALWAYS been able to handle my own. So it’s stressful that I am depending on him. He doesn’t complain at all. So it’s just hard for me I guess. How do I redo MY budget accordingly tho?

What exactly do you mean by how do you redo your budget? Like how do you account for your new load of bills or?

Well, budgeting is when you figure out how to cover your expenses with what you got. When times are tough, that’s usually a good time to find a way to try to make more money or figure out what expenses you can let go. This may mean only living with the bare minimum, but it’s better than putting yourself in debt by living life outside of your means.

1. Write down your current account balance in the income section. Figure out what bills and variable expenses need to come out still. 2. Start a new paycheck tracker with your next pay check and figure out what needs to come out of it and start from there.
