I have an account in collections that is reporting on my credit. It’s $100 and I have the money to pay it. Is there a way to pay it and get it off my credit? I have no idea how that works but it would really boost my credit if I could get it off my report.

Request a pay for deletion you have to make sure you get this agreement in writing and signed by an authorized person at the collection agency

They will report back that balance was paid in full. Won’t be a huge difference in your credit but it will be a positive update!

I just paid by bill that was in collections. Mine was from the dentist office from a few years ago. I just called the dentist office and made my payment with the dentist office and they said they will email collections for me.

I just did this and most report to the bureau on the 1st of the month. The Two debts I paid will be removed then!

@nisbet32782 I just called and said I wanna pay off my bill and how do I go about getting it removed from my report and they said they report to the credit bureaus the 1st of the month and that’s when they’ll say paid in full.

@southworth55335 I don’t want it to say paid in full though, I want to get it removed completely if possible
