However, if you have federal loan currently now is not the best time to refinance as they stopped accruing interest

Yes, I second Credible. Just this week I went through them to find the best refi option for my private loan, there were plenty of options provided.

inrefinanced through SoFi and am very happy with them. The process of quick and easy and I got my interest rate down from 9. 45 to 5. 25 with my husband co-signing for me. I wish I would have done it sooner.

Please keep in mind, if you refinance any federal student loans you will lose any benefits that a federal loan brings with it.

You can consolidate with fedloan servicing and then keep the federal benefits of using income driven repayment plans.

Things I’ve done so far to better our lives since finding TBM last month: •switched amazon prime to prime student- (WONT cancel because being overseas.Amazon is a lifesaver) •bought reusable ziplocks-no more plastic ziplock bags •started using the diva cup instead of tampons •canceled subscriptions (bark box, chegg, grammerly, HBO, Starz and many more) •informed my family I WILL NOT be doing holidays or birthdays this year, in effort to pay off ALL debt and save for a trip that was already planned •got serious about couponing and buying local produce (which is cheaper than commissary) •cut utility costs by not running water for to long and turning off (&unplugging) when not in a room •bought eco friendly plates, no more plastic or glass (my gf tends to...

Question about working for a small company using a 1099 for taxes - so I just got hired for a small organization and was told I needed to keep track of my taxes, which I’d owe back each year (because they aren’t coming out of each paycheck).
