I wouldn't apply for anything if you're planning on purchasing a home that soon!

I would be finding out why it was cancelled first.

I have Care Credit, but I've had it for years. Their regular APR is high, but they always have 0% interest for larger services,

Was it closed bc you had no balance on it? I work at a dentist office at the front desk and patients have told me before that their care credit cc will be canceled/closed if they have no balance and havent used it in a while. We called care credit customer service and they suggested to just open up a new card. If I were you, I would call the credit card company's customer service department and ask why it was closed and what the options are. Good luck!

Also depends on the type of cc, some are soft hits other are hard hits on your credit report. so prob worth asking which type of hit it would be if you did apply and/or open another card

My husbands was closed in February for no reason. We were still making payments on it and had a promotional payment thats not due until the end of this month. Not sure why they closed it.

Ok everyone I am doing my feb budget and noticing that the second and third week of the month I will be stort of a bill and groceries for the week.but the first and and 4th week I have extra money and the bills can't be moved sooo I was thinking for the paying the 2 small bills that don't fit in second paycheck with paycheck 1 and just pay early (if money is left hubby WILL spend it) and for third week using my credit card to cover groceries and last bill then paying it off on the fourth week?

So I just got my annual escrow review for 2020 and it says I’m getting a check back of about $1300 Now I know why that is, as I switched my house insurance midway through the yr and saved about that much.

So this might sound weird but when I have money left over from my paycheck that I know should go on a credit card I always hesitate to use it so it ends up sitting there until I spend it on something I don't need.
