Question

I am looking for suggestions. I get paired biweekly on fridays, and my partner gets paid weekly on fridays as well. How do I color code thos for the fridays we both have a check coming in but then I dont get paid for another 2 weeks and have automatic Bill's that come out?

I’m not sure what you’re asking. I would combine the paychecks that get paid in the same week.

If I’m understanding you correctly, I’d pick 4 colors and highlight which bills are connected to each paycheck. The 1500’s are both of you getting paid vs 500 is just him? If that’s true I’d highlight with 4 colors and then have 4 budgets. If y’all have separate accounts then I’d use 6 colors to separate who is paying for what

I'm in the same situation - I color code each paycheck a different color and assign bills based on that - meaning that, on average, I have 6 different colors to code for bills. For all auto-pays the paycheck that hits directly before the pay date is the one used to pay that bill.
